Tuition & fees for our Smith Stearns Tennis Academy include year round rates for guests, and separate rates for those who train full-time during the school year. Housing fees are also required for those who board with us.

Additional Fees
Fees for private lessons, tournament coaching, online school tuition and local private school tuition are all separate from Academy tuition.
Payment Information
All payments must be made out to Smith Stearns Tennis Academy. Cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted in payment for Academy tuition, student housing, tournament coaching, and private lessons. Private lessons must be paid in full in advance. No refunds will be issued for cancellations.
Payment for Year Round Camps
All Academy Camp charges (Summer Camp, Weekly and Holiday) are payable in full upon time of reservation and are non-refundable.
We’re fortunate to live in a beautiful Lowcountry sub-tropical climate. When rain does occur, it’s usually for short periods of time and has a minimal effect on our training schedule. During such rainy weather, our students train at our Smith Stearns Sports Performance Center and participate in a combination of educational tennis workshops and physical fitness exercises. These gym workouts and fitness are a part of the Smith Stearns tennis program. No refunds are given for suspension of on-court play due to rain.
Deposit for Full Time Academy
Upon acceptance into the Full Time Academy a $5,000 deposit for day students and a $15,000 deposit for housing students is due to secure each students space in the academy. This deposit will be deducted from the last installment from the payment plan you select. This is a non-refundable deposit.
