Future Stars Academy

The Smith Stearns Future Stars Academy was developed to offer the same quality of instruction to younger players who would like to join the academy. Our goal is to give our “future stars” the opportunity to be trained by the Smith Stearns approach from an early age. The program is for ages 4-10 and will teach kids the basic fundamentals of tennis focusing on technique, strategy, patterns of play, point setup and matchplay, while making the game fun at the same time! Once the student becomes the right age or a coach believes they are prepared to move up, they can have a successful transition into our junior academy.

The program will follow the guidelines of the new USTA initiative, 10 and Under Tennis and the ITF’s Tennis10s, which promote a stronger development for younger athletes by using smaller sized courts and balls. We strongly believe this will enhance a student’s development by giving them a game that they can have fun with and be successful at while better preparing them to be an all court player in the future.

12 Week Sessions

Session 2
Will be held starting the week of March 5th through the week of May 21st.

Ages 4-7

Wednesday 3:30-4:30
Saturday 11:30-12:30

Options for 12 Week Session

1 Day Program—$300 ($25 per session)
2 Day Program—$552 ($23 per session)

Ages 8-10

Wednesday 4:30-5:30
Saturday 10:30-11:30
Options for 12 Week Session

1 Day Program—$300 ($25 per session)
2 Day Program—$552 ($23 per session)

Private Lessons are also available.

Rates

45 minute lessons—$50 per lesson or $500 for package of 10 lessons

Quickstart lessons use the red or orange balls. When student gets to the level of green or yellow balls they will switch to our normal lesson rates.

If you participate in the Future Star Program you will receive a FREE Player Pack which includes 1 T-shirt, 1 Longsleeve T-Shirt, and a Bag Tag!
