Three Seniors Commit to Colleges

Begley to Texas, Peretz to Virgina, Stein to West Point

January 26, 2010 -- Three Smith Stearns students have signed National Letter of Intents to play college tennis starting in the fall of 2010.

Elizabeth Begley has signed with the University of Texas. Originally from Houston, Texas, Elizabeth will go back to her roots in the Lone Star State. She is currently the 23rd rated player in the senior class by tennisrecruiting.net.

Caryssa Peretz will be a Cavalier next fall. She has signed with the University of Virginia, after considering Virginia, UNC, and Michigan. Caryssa is rated #34 in the senior class.

Emily Stein has signed with the United States Military Academy at West Point. She is excited to be joining her sister at school, while also ready to embark on a vigorous academic and athletic journey! Emily is a four star rated recruit in the senior class.

Smith Stearns congratulates all three girls on their achievements and wishes them the best to come! So hook em’ horns, wahoo, and go army!!!
